Invite and Communicate With Your Guests by Email
Due to popular demand, we have implemented new and highly anticipated functionality to allow our customers to invite their guests and communicate with them by email.
You can specify basic email header information such as the Subject, Sender, Reply-to address, and even Carbon Copy (CC) and Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) addresses.
You have the flexibility to attach up to two documents to each email, such as the formal invitation PDF, and the directions card. PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, DOC, DOCX file formats are supported.
A full "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG) editor allows you to custom format your email with a choice of several fonts, various alignment options, and text enhancements, such as bolding, italicizing, and underlining. You can even insert links and pictures into the email body.
Various placeholders can be inserted anywhere in the text and will be replaced with actual data from your guest list during processing. This allows a high degree of personalization when addressing each guest.
You have the ability to specify which guests will be receiving emails. You can send to all guests or select specific ones. You can further filter and narrow down your selections by choosing from available categories.
Once you have made your selections, be sure to save your work by clicking the "Save" button. You can now proceed with the Preview. Preview will show you the entire email set, all emails that will be sent, exactly as they will look. Once you are satisfied how the Preview looks, you are ready to send the emails. Click the "Send" button, and you will be taken to the "Job Status" tab where you can watch the progress as actual emails are being formatted and sent.
The entire guest email feature is summarized in the following info-graphic. It is flexible for any type of email communication with your guests, not limited to just sending out invitations. You can send follow up notes, reminders, and additional event information as your celebration day gets closer. To access this feature, select Top Menu -> Guests -> Invite by Email.
